How To Complain
Step 1 - Contact the business
In order to begin the process you must contact the company that sold you the goods or services. Try and get the name and job title of the person who is responsible for dealing with your complaint and keep a record of your contact, including time, date and details of the conversation.
It's a good idea to be able to suggest a proposed solution to the problem. Always be clear and calm with the person you are dealing with and try to be polite and not lose your temper.
Unless the matter can be resolved then and there the company will always tell you to put your complaint into writing.
Step 2 - Select your Letter
Providing that you have the name and job title of the person responsible for your complaint, you can address your complaint letter to them personally.
Simply select a letter from our winning selection and post it off to the relevant company. Always remember to allow around a month for them to resolve the issue (if they do not contact you within this time period).
